Back Issue was conceived after Jon B. Cooke, editor of TwoMorrows Comic Book Artist, decided to leave the publisher to take his magazine to Top Shelf Productions. Working with Michael Eury, Publisher John Morrow brainstormed the new title, using departments and themes to separate the new title from CBA. Since its launch in 2003, the magazine has proved to be one of TwoMorrows best sellers, and an industry and reader favorite.
